Senior Vice President, Safeco Insurance and Manager, Finance.
Kris L. Hill serves as Senior Vice President, Personal Lines Financial Officer. In this position, Hill is responsible for providing financial information for business decision support and developing key financial and operational metrics. Hill previously served as Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at Safeco Corporation where she was responsible for accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, financial analysis, US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and statutory reporting, as well as accounting policies and procedures. In addition, Hill is actively involved in the transition and integration process between Liberty Mutual and Safeco. Hill joined Safeco in December 2002.
Previously, she was VP of Finance at North Star Communications. She also held leadership positions with Aetna, Inc. and Grant Thornton LLP.
Hill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
She is also a Certified Public Accountant (Connecticut).
Additionally, she is a board member of the Red Cross – King & Kitsap County Chapter.
